Unexplained Saddlebrooke Car Crash Seriously Injures One Man

By Auto Accident Lawyer on April 12, 2012 - No comments

As experienced Arizona car crash attorneys, we were taken aback by a serious injury accident reported by KVOA Channel 4 on April 3. Authorities arrived at North Oracle Road on Highway 77 in Saddlebrooke near the exit for Biosphere 2 around 2:00 pm. There they found that a pickup truck had rolled over and left the roadway. The driver was alone in the vehicle and was conscious at the time police arrived but had been injured. The driver was taken by ambulance to a nearby trauma center, which was closer than the nearest hospital.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) was dispatched to the scene to investigate what had happened. They have yet to release a final report on the cause of the rollover although drugs, alcohol, and the initial presence of other vehicles have not been ruled out as possibilities.

How to Avoid a Saddlebrooke Car Crash

Each year, Pima County accident statistics are affected by at least one Saddlebrooke car crash. Records kept by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) indicate that car accidents in Pima County cause a yearly economic loss of nearly $400 million. Of that, nearly $169 million in losses can be directly attributed to injury crashes. This large number of economic losses is caused by less than 16,000 accidents, only 5,300 of which cause injuries. ADOT reports nearly 3,000 Arizona car collisions involve at least one rollover per year, the majority of which cause serious injuries, followed by property damage. In 2010, only 125 rollover accidents were fatal.

Why Involve an Arizona Car Crash Attorney

The man who was hurt in this Saddlebrooke crash may be able to benefit from contacting a skilled Arizona rollover accident attorney, especially if the cause of the collision is deemed to have been the fault of another person, whether it was another driver, a maintenance worker, or another party. The Husband and Wife Law Team work with injury victims in strange accident cases to determine the exact cause of the collision and the best course of action. We would bring in experts to assess the crash site and help us determine who was at fault and also negotiate lower costs for medical treatment to avoid the swift buildup of debt during the recovery period. If you or someone you know was injured in a car accident where additional assessments are needed and you’re having trouble keeping up with the medical bills, Breyer Law, P.C. may be able to help. Single-Vehicle Yuma Rollover Accident Injures Three People

By Auto Accident Lawyer on March 29, 2012 - No comments

As Yuma car accident attorneys with more than 30 years of combined experience, we are concerned for the three people injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday, March 13, 2012, according to the Yuma Sun. The crash took place near Imperial Dam at the intersection of Senator Wash Road and State Route 24 when a car carrying three people rolled over. Two of the people in the car were able to get out, but a third passenger in the vehicle was trapped and was rescued by emergency crews. All three of the people in the car were transported to a nearby hospital and were treated for non-life threatening injuries. There has been no official report on the cause of the accident.

Single-Vehicle Yuma Car Accident Statistics

Nearly 1,900 collisions like this Yuma rollover accident occur in the city each year, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). More than 600 of these incidents result in injuries to nearly 900 people every year. Statewide, nearly 2,800 car crashes each year result in the overturning of the vehicle and more than 18,500 crashes involve only a single vehicle. Single-vehicle collisions account for more than 17 percent of all crashes each year in Arizona and for more than 41 percent of all crash-related deaths.

Why a Yuma Car Accident Victim Should Call a Personal Injury Attorney

The victims of this single-vehicle Yuma car accident each suffered injuries and could benefit from knowing their rights by contacting a Yuma personal injury attorney to ensure they receive compensation for their injuries and other damages. The Husband and Wife Law Team would collect witness statements from those injured in the crash, as well as any bystander witnesses, to help build a strong case. If you were a passenger victim in a single-car crash and need help deciding if you have a case, call us today for a free consultation.

Sahuarita Car Accident Involves Pregnant Woman and Two Locked in Trunk

By Auto Accident Lawyer on March 21, 2012 - No comments

At Breyer Law, P.C., we have seen many strange accidents occur over the years, including the collision that occurred March 8, according to NBC 4. The collision occurred when a pregnant woman driving a small vehicle tried to evade police just outside of Sahuarita. The woman lost control of her vehicle and went off the road, where the car then rolled. The pregnant driver was ejected from the vehicle and during the course of their investigation at the scene of the accident, police discovered two people locked in the trunk of the car. Both people were also injured.

The pregnant woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for her injuries. The current status of the two trunk passengers is unknown. Police have not issued a statement concerning the passengers in the trunk and both the accident and the situation regarding these passengers is under investigation. We do not know why the driver was running from the police. Needless to say, our hearts go out to those injured in this crash, especially the pregnant driver, and we wish everyone a speedy recovery.

Speeding and Arizona Car Accidents

This accident was one of less than 200 that occur in Sahuarita each year, although nearly half result in injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The number one driver violation responsible for causing accidents in all cities reported by ADOT is speeding. Statistics show that speeding causes more than 35,000 collisions each year, which is more than one-third of all collisions, reported. More than one-third of the collisions caused by speeding result in injuries. Speeding greatly increases the risk of collision as well as the risk of a rollover because excessive speeds greatly reduce a driver’s ability to control his or her vehicle. Drivers can reduce their risk of being involved in a rollover or another Arizona serious injury accident by slowing down and observing speed limits.

How Can a Car Accident Attorney Help?

Victims of a rollover crash like this accident are likely to suffer extreme injuries, and should seek prompt medical attention to determine their physical status, even if they feel fine. If injuries are discovered, a qualified personal injury attorney may be able to help. Personal injury attorneys help victims by negotiating a settlement to cover the costs of medical care, lost wages, personal property damage and debts resulting from the collision. The Arizona rollover accident lawyers at Breyer Law, P.C. work to help crash victims get the compensation they need to recover quickly and get back on their feet. If you’ve been injured in a rollover crash, our free consultation can help you decide what steps to take next. Call us today.

Tucson Rollover Accident Occurs After Incident at Fast-Food Joint

By Auto Accident Lawyer on February 28, 2012 - No comments

As Arizona rollover accident lawyers, we were surprised to hear about the many events that took place before one man’s death on February 14 in Tucson. According to KVOA News, a 28-year-old man was involved in an accident with two other vehicles while at a drive-thru near 12th Avenue and West Lerdo Road at about 11:15 p.m. He first rear-ended one vehicle and then backed into the front of another before fleeing the scene. When he fled, he sped through an intersection, over a median, and rolled his car, which resulted in his death since he was not wearing his seatbelt. One of the drivers he hit remained on the scene and cooperated with police. The other left the scene. Anyone with information about that second driver is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME. Our condolences go out to the man’s family.

How Did This Rollover Accident Happen?

This accident happened when a man sped away from a hit-and-run incident. Police are still investigating whether he was intoxicated at the time. Because of the speed, the man lost control of the car, hit the median, and rolled. He was crushed under the car because he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Never Hit and Run

As accident attorneys, we will be the first to tell you that hit and run accidents are not only illegal, but they can be deadly as well. Many people attempt to flee the scene of the accident because they aren’t insured, aren’t driving with a valid driver’s license, and many other reasons. However, police often apprehend the suspects later, and then they face much more serious consequences than if they had remained on the scene.

Fountain Hills Rollover Accident Causes Serious Injury

By Auto Accident Lawyer on January 19, 2012 - No comments

As Fountain Hills rollover accident attorneys, we were saddened to hear about a 71-year-old woman who lost control of her car in a neighborhood near Tepee and Boulder Drive on Monday, January 9, 2012, according to news reports published in Fox 10. The driver apparently lost control while backing out of her driveway, backed into a neighbor’s garage, then lost control as she continued down the street. The Jaguar she was driving flipped end over into another neighbor’s yard and landed between some boulders. The woman was in serious condition at a local hospital following this Arizona car accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with her, and we wish her a full recovery.

Causes of This Fountain Hills Rollover Accident

While this was a single-vehicle accident, as Fountain Hills rollover accident lawyers, we see many incidents in which the other driver causes the innocent party’s vehicle to rollover. It often happens when other drivers sideswipe, swerve toward, or cut off the car that ends up rolling over. In some cases, we see rollovers that occur because of faulty repair jobs, such as when tires aren’t replaced properly or aren’t properly inflated. In this case, it is unclear exactly what happened, and police are still investigating.

Fountain Hills Rollover Accident Statistics

There were 97 Fountain Hills car accidents in 2010, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), which resulted in one death and 46 injuries. There were also 12,949 sideswipe accidents and 3,067 incidents in which drivers failed to keep in their own lane. While this wasn’t the case in this accident, this is how most rollover accidents occur.

Contact a Fountain Hills Rollover Accident Attorney

Buckeye Rollover Accident Injures Two

By Auto Accident Lawyer on November 7, 2011 - No comments

As Buckeye rollover accident attorneys, we are hoping for the speedy recovery of the two victims who were involved in a recent SUV rollover crash in Buckeye. As reported by AZ Central, the accident happened around 8 a.m. Monday on the Tonopah Salome Highway.

One of the victims was ejected from the vehicle and was flown to a local hospital in critical condition. Another victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

What Caused the Rollover Accident?

There are many factors that could lead to a rollover crash, the most common of which is driving on excessive speeds. Also, certain types of cars are found out to be susceptible to rollover accidents. Tall and narrow vehicles such as SUV’s are more prone to rolling over as opposed to other types of vehicles. If a rollover crash is caused by a driver’s negligence, he or she may be held legally responsible.

Injury Crashes in Arizona

Victims have a high chance of acquiring injuries in crashes such as rollovers. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), almost one-third of all crashes in Arizona in 2010 involved injuries. These injury crashes led to more than 50,000 people being rushed to the emergency room.

Arizona State Speeding Laws

There is a high chance that a rollover accident will involve speeding. To prevent speeding-related accidents from happening, the state imposes speed limits for motorists to follow, and violating this rule will result in corresponding punitive measures. As specified by ARS 28-701.02, motorists should not exceed 35 miles per hour (mph) near school areas and, if no speed restrictions are posted, should not exceed 45 mph when in a business or residential district.

According to reports by ABC 15, a vehicle carrying two women and two kids crashed on Saturday evening near Ironwood at Guadalupe Road.

The driver and one of the kids were thrown out of the vehicle. Police say it is possible that the car went onto the dirt shoulder and was overcorrected, causing it to roll over.
